TO ALEXANDER (WHO COULD ONLY SEE THE SEA)
To Alexander (who could only see the sea) was our first foray into both themes of climate change, and unnecessarily wordy titles.
Commissioned for the inaugural Outpost festival in Plymouth we’ve fond memories of, calling in Paddleboat Theatre to shift tons of playpit sand & performing in an actual storm at the beautiful Royal William Yard in Plymouth.
With its grounding in the geography of the Southwest, & it’s focus on place and the intangibility of the threads of connection that tie us all together, To Alexander would be a hallmark for all our work moving forwards.
